1
I’m a first timer! What should I expect?
Expect an easy breezy experience! Show up, strip down, get your glow, and go. The beautiful thing about spray tanning is the quick results with minimal effort or time. Be prepared by following the prep steps prior to your session. Bring along loose, cotton clothing to wear after the tan. Be aware, the application will feel a bit cold. Plan to skip your normal beauty routines for the remainder of the day.

I’m getting married! When should I book?
Congratulations! The largest group of our clientele are beaming brides-to-be. If you are hoping to even out tan lines or show off a healthy glow, a sunless tan is a smart alternative to laying out or UV beds. Plan to tan 2-3 days prior to your “I do’s”. It is important to schedule any other treatments before your tanning session. Think of your glow up as the icing on the cake!

Will the tan look orange?
If you’ve had a sunless tan in the past, chances are you’ve had a bad tan. We’ve all been there. It’s safe to say you can achieve a natural looking glow! Our color-corrective bronzing agent adapts to your skin proteins, resulting in a unique-to-you glow. Keep in mind, hormonal fluctuations can occasionally lead to varying color consistency from session to session.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does a sunless tan protect me from the sun?
Sunless tanning formulas do not contain SPF to protect you from UV rays.
Can I still get a sun tan if I have a sunless tan?
You can, but be aware UV rays prematurely age and damage your beautiful skin so be sure to wear a broadspectrum SPF.
What do I wear during my sunless tanning appointment?
-The ladies: most opt to go nude to avoid tan lines.
If you decide nude is not for you, that’s absolutely fine! Go for a thin string thong or undies. We recommend going bra-less, but if you must wear one, bring a strapless bra or bandeau. Most importantly, avoid sports-bras please!
-For the boys: boxers or briefs are required.
For after the tan: Arrive in or bring loose-fitting clothes to change into after your sunless tan.
Steer clear of clothing that includes a high % of rayon, tight denim, tight yoga pants, sports-bras and strappy flip flops or strappy anything for that matter.
When should I book my sunless tanning appointment?
Our Rule of Thumb on scheduling -
Special event: 2 - 3 days before
Wedding: 2 - 3 days before
Vacation: 1 - 2 days before
Photo Shoot: 2 - 4 days before
Just because: anytime!
Which serum should I choose?
We offer a variety of serums and the choice ultimately comes down to three factors; time, occasion, and skin type. If you are able to allow the solution develop overnight, the Standard Organic Serum is a great choice, no matter what! If you are looking to shower same day, that’s when we would recommend our Swift Serum or Rapid Serum. We will always consult at your session to make a personalized recommendation to ensure satisfactory results.
How long will the tan last?
The sunless tan should last anywhere from 5-7 days on average. With the proper prep and post care, you could potentially enjoy your color for up to two weeks! Keep in mind, your at-home products could negatively effect the life span of your sunless tan. We offer an all-natural in house line of essential products that will help your color and skin to thrive! In addition, chlorine and salt water will cause the tan to fade at a quicker rate but don’t let that stop you from enjoying your pool, hot tub or ocean plans.
Can I wear makeup after my appointment?
You can, but keep it minimal. The sunless tan should eliminate the need to go heavy on any sort of foundation, concealer or bronzers. If you want or need to wear mascara, or anything else, keep it light! Most importantly, don’t plan on washing your face until your first recommended rinse.
Will the solution transfer onto my clothing or sheets?
You may see some tan solution transfer onto your sheets during overnight development or onto the clothing you wear after your session if you perspire. Not to worry, it will be minimal and it is completely normal. This won’t affect the outcome of your sunless tan.
Will the solution stain my clothing or sheets?
No. Don’t worry, our all-natural ingredients will not stain your clothing or sheets. In the chance you are wearing white or your sheets are in the white color family, throw some Oxi-Clean or stain remover in with your wash and watch it disappear!
I’m expecting - Can I still get a sunless tan?
Yes! DHA (the bronzing component of a sunless tan) is FDA approved for external use and is completely safe.
I’m nursing - Can I still get a sunless tan?
Most definitely! Just be aware of the potential color transfer to your nursing baby. We provide petals for some coverage of the area. Be sure to mention this before your sunless tan so we can properly prepare.
We are going on vacation and will be in the hot tub, swimming pool and ocean. Should I still get a spray tan?
Yes! Yes yes yes! Although chlorine and salt water might cause your tan to fade a little bit quicker than normal, we still confidently recommend starting your vacation with a gorgeous glow. (And no, the tan is not going to run off in the water causing a spray tan scene, promise!)
Remember, keeping your skin hydrated and moisturized is key to keeping your tan looking vibrant. All you need to do is avoid a sunburn, implement moisturizing morning and night, and your tan should be golden for at least up to 5 days!
What I should avoid after getting a sunless tan?
Avoid getting a sunburn. The sunless tan only penetrates your outermost layer of skin so if your skin peels from a sunburn, your tan is going to peel as well, leaving you with patchy spots. Youch! That said, if you tend to burn or have fair skin, please use a broadspectrum SPF to protect your precious skin.
Avoid the bargain bar soap. Why? Bar soaps tend to leave a layer of film on your skin, negatively penetrating through your gorgeous glow, causing it to fade faster and quite possibly unevenly. No thanks! Opt for a gel or liquid base body wash.
Avoid shaving for 2-3 days. This time frame allows for the spray tan to settle without being too disrupted by a razor. We highly recommend shaving before your spray tan session.
Avoid exfoliating for 5 + days. Exfoliating will scrub the tan right off so please wait until you notice the tan has almost completely faded.
Avoid products that: have a high % of alcohol or witch hazel, mineral oils, toners, retin-a, aerosol sprays, acne medications such as Accutane, and lotions that smell delicious.

“I have used this spray tan service many times for vacations and big events and she is wonderful! The color is always natural and will last 7-10 days if you are well exfoliated and moisturized before hand.”
